The roof bars attach to the vehicle by a clamping system that attaches to the existing raised roof rails on the vehicle.  The bars have a rubber strip inside which slides to allow for easy installation of accessories (bike carrier, roof box etc..)

The new design of the roof bars means that you can use the entire roof bar mounting surface and are not restricted by the fitting brackets.

The roof bars attach to the vehicle using a clamping system which secures over the existing solid / flush roof rails.  Solid / flush roof rails do not have a gap between the vehicle and the roof rail.
